PCU provides comprehensive or partial project control services through two channels:

• Consulting: basic development, change control, earned value management processes, data capture, and quantity measurement, corporate standardization, and best practices.
• Subscriptions to the master database of the PCU System platform and the cost control module.

PCU's cost control capability is based on our proprietary software platform.

The PCU System manages all project cost control activities in an integrated package and is designed to adapt to the specific execution and contracting strategy of each project. Key functions include:

• Development of cost control objectives, processes, and software/system selection.
• Development of the baseline budget.
• Transfer of cost models or calculation data to control budgets.
• Live project scheduling.
• Change control with coded orders to amend or modify current budgets.
• Earned value management system with real-time curves, data templates, and forecasting.

PCU System budgets can be immediately imported, and data can be linked to other project control systems.
